The Role

Due to continued success, business growth, and expansion into new areas of expertise we need to add experienced sales professionals to our successful European sales teams in Dublin.
As an IBM Sales Specialist you will work with clients in Sweden to help them find solutions to their IT and business needs.
You will benefit from joining one of our teams of sales professionals specialising in IBM’s very extensive range of solutions and working with a well established and defined client base.
The IBM solutions you will be offering will include, Cloud Computing, Software, SaaS, Hardware, IT Services and Technical Support Services, reflecting IBM’s wide reaching and extensive capabilities.
You will build your expertise in one or more of these solution areas, around Cloud, Analytics, Mobile and Security. You will also benefit from extensive education and training to develop your capabilities with one of the world’s largest IT companies and most recognised brands.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Own and be responsible for the end to end sales process for a defined territory or client set.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their full satisfaction in all transactions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in your brand.
  • Drive continued pipeline progression and provide accurate forecasting.
  • Maintain and grow IBM’s market share and win rate in your region and account base.
  • In order to achieve this you will be expected to co-ordinate and collaborate with IBM’s strategic Business Partners and extended IBM sales teams on your sales territory.
  • Most importantly you will need to act as a trusted advisor to your clients by helping to influence their decisions through your guidance and expertise.

Qualification and Experience

  • You must have a proven track record in sales as well as account and territory management knowledge, preferably in IT.
  • You must have demonstrated skills in sales pipeline progression, forecasting and management, using CRM systems.
  • You will demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills and a continued focus on client satisfaction.
  • A high level of energy, drive, initiative and commitment is required to enable you to work in a fast moving and challenging environment.
  • You must have native or near native level of Swedish as well as an extensive cultural awareness of Sweden.
  • You also must have a good level of spoken and written English.

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 2 years experience in IT Sales
  • English: Intermediate
  • Swedish: Fluent
  • Norwegian: Intermediate

Preferred

  • At least 3 years experience in IT Sales
