Security Product Sales Specialist - Norway
Position Summary: The Product Sales Specialist will have an unique learning opportunity in working under the supervision of Experienced Systems Engineers and Account Managers in various roles and activities such as: Responsible for driving sales and business transformation of Cisco Network Security & Content Security solutions in Norway, working closely with in-country Cisco Sales Organizations. The role requires strong collaboration with Partner Organization & Sales Organization within Norway, as well as with North and EMEAR Security Teams.
Role & Responsibilities
Execute on the Security Plan for Norway, working closely with Partner Operation and Technical Teams in Norway, focusing on select Customers and select Partners
Build and grow the Channel Partner funnel and assist to convert pipeline. Establish reference customers.
Understand, articulate and position both internally and externally Cisco's end-to-end Security architecture with a strong focus on solutions and integration of security with the rest of Cisco's architectures.
Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key partner contacts
Directly engage on selected customer opportunities where required, whilst allowing the local Channel Partner to maintain overall deal or customer ownership.
Learns the necessary skills to negotiate with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
Establish a strong team selling approach. Deliver business value to selected opportunities for the Channel Partner. Support them, where necessary, with know-how, promo's, campaigns, technical resources & services to drive business growth.
Aspiration of becoming a leader toward senior management, peers, partners, company and customers in progressing Cisco's success in Security solutions.
Requirements of the Candidate
Needs to be able to demonstrate successful sales experience with at least 3+ years proven track record.
Strong relationship management skills with a genuine understanding of how to identify, build and manage relationships with multiple key decisions makers within Channel Partner & Customers.
Ability to execute through Channel Partners.
Passionate and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in developing security business with channel partners.
Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills
Experience in selling security solutions such as Content security including E Mail security, Web security, DLP, Encryption, Cloud based and On-Premise, and an understanding of the malware threat landscape are an advantage
University degree in a technical discipline and/or MBA preferred
