Job description
Project Managers lead complex application development or system integration projects, using state-of-the art tools and methods. Project management spans every phase of a project, from planning and analysis, to conversion, rollout and handover to operation. This usually involves use of offshore capabilities and resources.
We work with large Norwegian companies on mission-critical and large-scale system integration projects. As a Project Manager at Accenture, you will have the opportunity to work with highly-professional and skilled resources to deliver complex projects through use of proven methodologies and techniques.
Project Managers are responsible for the following areas:
- Planning and managing every aspect of a project, including providing overall guidance and direction for the project and overseeing financial management activities.
- Measuring and monitoring progress at clearly-defined points of the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balancing scope, the schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
- Ensuring that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all team members affected.
- Managing relationships and coordinating work between different teams at different locations.
- Representing the project team at client meetings.
- Ensuring that the project team follows all quality assurance processes, including regular reviews and transitions.
- Participating in quality management reviews.
Candidates should have:
- Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree with strong academic results
- For experienced candidates - proven track record as a project manager for systems integration projects, preferably supplemented with PMI credentials
