Solutions & IT is looking for new ambitious colleagues with excellent skills in requirement management

New Digital Banking organisation with high ambitions
Digital Banking is a newly established unit in Nordea. The unit is accountable for the entire value chain, from idea generation, developing, designing and delivering digital solutions to our customers to maximising customer business on all digital platforms.
The units’ ambition is to deliver the best digital customer experience to Nordea customers and to build broad and deep customer relationships with our customers also online.

Solutions & IT
Solutions & IT (S&IT) is a new unit established as a part of Digital Banking. The unit is accountable for developing new state-of-the-art digital solutions to our customers, maintaining existing digital solutions and operating underlying IT platforms and applications. A part of our DNA is fast failure – where we explore, experiment and validate ideas for new innovative digital solutions.

As a Requirement Manager in Solutions & IT you will be responsible for pro-active identification, analysis, prioritisation and documentation of business- and IT requirements, both functional and non-functional, to solutions in the S&IT domain. You are also responsible for driving and facilitating back-log tracking and grooming and for securing continuous prioritisation of the backlog.

You will be allocated to one of the Delivery Streams in S&IT and work closely together with Requirement Specialists, Product Managers and Solution Architects.

You will report to the Manager of Requirement Management team in S&IT.

Ensure efficient and timely requirement management

Your main objective will be to ensure that S&IT, both in the short- and long-term, has state-of-the-art digital solutions in place that meet and exceeds customer expectations, based on thorough requirement analysis and prioritisation. You will achieve this by:

•End-2-end lifecycle management of requirements
•Pro-active identification, analysis, prioritisation and documentation of business and IT demands and requirements to solutions in the Digital domain; both functional- and non-functional.
•Identification and quantification of the extent solving a demand/requirement contributes to fulfilment of customer needs or to reducing friction in customer journeys
•Driving and facilitating Back-log tracking, grooming and ensuring continued re-prioritisation
•Managing requirements in complex change initiatives with focus on securing robust solutions to ensure stability
• Driving and facilitating workshops with stakeholders who raise demands and requirements for the solution and identify any overlaps or conflicts and settle or escalate conflicts of interests
•Challenging expressed requirements
•Securing requirement specification and clarification where needed
•Secure issue resolution and mitigation for all requirement disputes
•Explaining and communicating requirements to Product Manager, Solution Architect, Developers and Testers.
•Managing IT Change Management process
•Performing scope analysis, conclusion and recommendation in case of change to baseline based on new or earlier unidentified requirements.
•Recommending both test and implementation readiness
You will, together with the Manager of Requirement Management team in S&IT, take responsibility for creating an effective and efficient team culture that ensure the highest degree of trust, respect, courage, empowerment and team efficiency.

Highly experienced Requirement Manager with a proven track record
We expect you to be a highly experienced Requirement Manager with a proven track record within identification, analysis, prioritisation and communication of requirements, preferably in a complex, cross-country and multi-cultural setting.

You have documented experience and competencies within:

•Requirement identification and analysis
•Requirement prioritisation and back-log management
•IT Change Management processes
•Communication and Negotiation
You understand digital business, customer and employee needs and can ensure that they are translated into explicit and relevant solutions.

You find it natural to navigate and drive results to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, also in a highly diversified stakeholder environment, and are able to balance trade-offs and drive decisions based on facts.

You are able to manage requirements in complex change initiatives with focus on securing robust solutions to ensure stability and you can drive and facilitate workshops in the requirements area to contribute to
optimal solutions

You are proactive, highly ambitious for yourself and the organisation, set high standards and act as a role model for your peers, bringing your solid background into play.

You are curious, courageous, pragmatic, innovative, customer oriented, flexible, have a strong drive with a sense of urgency and you “dare to fail” to achieve outstanding results.

You are fluent in English and you are able to communicate with clarity, purpose and transparency in all you do.

Candidates with a Master’s degree will have an advantage, as will candidates with a strong background in product development and a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
