As a Tivoli Brand Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing Tivoli specific solutions that address your client’s business needs (both industry and business) and deliver client value while supporting brand-specific business strategies.
You will work to create solutions which are tailored to client’s business needs and integrate the IBM/ Tivoli brand capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the competition.
In this role, is it essential that you are able to apply industry-specific knowledge and experience to bring new business and technology insights to assigned clients. Further responsibilities include: manage an open territory to drive new sales and expand existing business, provide sales leadership, move sales opportunities to closure, work with other sellers and units of IBM as needed to create an effective solution for the client, maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry.
Further responsibilities:
- Drive / Manage pipeline creation and progression
- Provide sales execution linkage with channel team
- Manage overall customer, partner & executive relationships
- Establish go to market strategy for your territory
- Coordinate with internal teams, partners and marketing for tactic activities to help identify new markets, customers, use sales plays
Key Attributes:
- Ability to manage a territory and to identify key accounts to drive revenue.
- An outstanding ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution based on IBM software
- Understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market.
- Organized, Self Motivated, ability to communicate both written and verbal

- Documented success in previous sales experience is mandatory.
Position does require face to face sales coverage and travel.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Software Sales
- English: Fluent
- Norwegian: Fluent
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- At least 1 year experience in Tivoli or Tivoli competitor products
