To increase our agility and develop even more personalised and convenient services we are simplifying processes in all parts of the bank and building new banking platforms.
New Payment Platform programme is responsible for the Payments business transformation. We will build the future payment infrastructure and harmonize the business processes across Nordea group. As a Programme/Project Manager you will take delivery responsibility of a project within the program, e.g. Business release, Platform Integration, or Decommissioning. First two areas focus on development and deployment of the new platform and the third focuses on decommissioning old systems as the journey moves along.
Establishing the future capabilities of the new payment platform
Proper planning of tasks leads into positive outcomes. You will be responsible for a project delivery as the initiative moves forward and new systems are deployed. As we are substituting business critical systems in a complex environment you need to align with multiple stakeholders in order to be successful.
Cost and risk management is a key success factor to succeed in this position. An important goal of the projects is to actively manage cost structure and mitigate potential risks with great detail. Furthermore, a previous experience with payment systems is considered as an advantage.
Clear expectations towards project members together with proactive involvement bring good results. You set clear expectations and involve relevant participants from both delivery and decommission teams. Similarly, you work in a proactive way and are able to motivate people working with you.
Project management with good committing and planning capabilities
You have strong driver capabilities, are self-motivated and also have the ability to motivate others. Strong commitment and sense of urgency is required in this role.
The project team will be a dynamic group of Nordic experts and we expect you to be able to drive small as well as larger teams. Furthermore, we expect you have several years of relevant project management experience and a proven track record for successful executions.
An applicable master’s degree in either Computer Science, Economics, or comparable is a prerequisite. Furthermore, you must be fluent in both oral and written English. As the project teams are located in several countries we expect you are willing to travel.
