Kongsberg Gruppen Project Manager - Upgrade and Modification department - Global Customer Support (KMC 15/005)

Kongsberg Maritime Global Customer Support is responsible for all support and follow-up towards the end-customer during the operational phase of our systems. Our goal is to provide the best possible support during the full life cycle of the all KONGSBERG systems to our customer’s full satisfaction.

Due to changes in our staff, we are looking for a Project Manager with extensive knowledge of the either Dynamic Positioning, Automation or Navigation product to run upgrade & modification projects.

Technically skilled candidates aspiring for a position as a Project Manager is encouraged to apply for the position.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage U&M projects and service agreements
• Responsible for the economical result in projects
• Coordinate after market activities and initiatives
• Manage proactive support initiatives towards selected customers
• Act as Technical Account Manager for selected customers
• Develop new business cases in our aftersales portfolio
• Technical Sales Support for the after-market
• Travelling as required

Education & Skills:

• Educated as Bachelor or equivalent
• Experience as Project Manager and / or customer relations
• Extensive knowledge with Kongsberg Maritime Products
• Self-starter / self-driven person with positive attitude
• Excellent cooperative skills
• Ability to handle several activities simultaneously in a hectically environment.
• Fluency in English both verbal and in writing
