The position we offerYour job is to act as the key contact and subject matter expert for all contract-related activities. Based on your strong legal background, you will work with legal representatives to develop and insert appropriate legal documentation in contracts, as warranted.
You will have the opportunity to develop and negotiate contract terms, conditions, modifications, penalties and incentives, while working with key stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met. Additionally, you will be part of the contract execution process, resolving problems, mitigating delays, mediating disputes and growing issues.
Excellent administration of contracts is essential to contract management and you will assist in assuring that all suppliers have up to date information registered and will be responsible for producing reports and other material required to manage the contracts.
You will perform all the administration processes using the necessary tools to ensure that Nordea is compliant and in control of its contracts.
You will have the opportunity to provide recommendations for improvements of the processes, procedures, workflow and organizational structures for contract management.
The qualifications you need
You have a strong legal background from previous positions, where you have proven the ability to determine contractual and financial exposure and negotiate contracts.
Moreover, we would like the profile to have:
- Deep market knowledge of the IT Sourcing area seen from a legal perspective.
- Strong project management skills, enabling the candidate to handle multiple vendors and multiple contracts.
- Good knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models, and traditional and emerging contract and vendor performance models.
- Excellent skills in communicating with IT users, legal and procurement staff, and business leaders to craft contracts that align complex needs with contractual requirements to achieve business outcomes.
- The ability to understand contract risks and to work with other parts of the organization crafting tactics and strategies for risk mitigation is also an area of importance.
- Extended analytical capabilities in your approach to problem solving, with a focus on working in a team environment with attention to results and a sense of urgency.
- Efficient decision making and the ability to reach decisions that add value are critical for us in what can be tight time frames.
Above all you are able to demonstrate clarity of communication, internally and externally. You demonstrate drive and commitment and enjoy working in cross-functional and intercultural teams with ambitious goals.
You hold a master degree and are fluent in oral and written English.
