Digital Banking is a newly established unit in Nordea, which ultimately targets at securing a high quality user experience in all the digital interaction a customer has with Nordea. This includes ensuring a consistency in the interaction irrespective of which channel (netbank, mobile, email etc) is in question.
Instrumental to above, is the enablement of a data platform on Hadoop. This platform we in the Analytics IT team proudly develop and maintain, and it is the cornerstone for all the advanced analytics we do in the Analytics -unit.

The qualifications you need
Rock solid drive and -competences in development end to end.
You are passionate and optimistic, curious but pragmatic and have a strong drive with a sense of urgency. You thrive in an environment where there is a high demand for speed and agility in delivering. You have a proven track-record of being part of the end-to-end demand and delivery process of an agile software development team, i.e. you are familiar with processes ranging from business requirements collection, to their conversion to IT requirements, to development, quality assurance and finally deployment to production.
Technical competences:
- The Hadoop ecosystem (Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Spark etc)
- Tools and techniques required for data quality assurance
- On/in-Hadoop ETL tools

- QlikView and –Sense
- Working in an onsite-offshore (outsourced) setup
You are fluent in spoken and written English, as well as being open for occasional travelling in the Nordic countries.
