Statkraft has the ambition to grow within the Offshore Wind business into a major industrial player, capable of developing projects through all phases of the life cycle. The Offshore Wind unit manages development, construction and operation of Statkraft’s offshore wind portfolio. The business unit is located in Oslo and the UK.
The Cost of Energy and Concept Design unit is part of the Offshore Wind Engineering department and is responsible for calculations of levelised cost of energy (LCoE), cost estimation and conceptual design within the Offshore Wind organization. LCoE is used to evaluate and compare concepts and projects.
To strengthen our unit, we are now looking for an Analyst/ Senior Analyst. The tasks will mainly be carried out within the line organization, as a contribution to preparing decision support and other internal processes, as well as direct support to the projects.
Your position
- Perform LCoE calculations
- Assemble cost estimates
- Maintain cost database
- Contribute to improvement of tools and methodology for cost estimation and LCoE calculations
- Contribute to conceptual design optimization
- Support and review work carried out in the projects within abovementioned fields
Your profile
- Master degree in engineering or economy
- Experience from, and understanding of, the offshore wind industry
- Experience with LCoE calculation and/or cost estimation, preferably within offshore wind, or alternatively within resembling industries
- A combination of economic and cross disciplinary technical understanding
- Expertise in the organisation and management of data, including expertise in use of Excel
- Ability to work both in team and independently
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
